Built on their own terms
The Palm Bay Connection is an independent rap band from Florida’s Space Coast, founded in 2025 by brothers Karanastic and wizardfromearth.
Built in Brevard County and created entirely on their own terms, the group brings the raw spirit of underground hip-hop together with the energy and musicianship of a live band.
Instead of relying on conventional software-driven beats, The Palm Bay Connection builds its sound from original guitar, bass, keyboards and drums composed by wizardfromearth. Those instrumentals become the backdrop for two distinctly different voices: Karanastic’s volatile flows, dark humor and densely layered wordplay meet wizardfromearth’s rugged, off-center delivery and instinct for melody, atmosphere and storytelling.
One thread runs through every release: a reference to Tolkien’s Middle-earth, tucked somewhere inside the wordplay.

Their lyrics inhabit a world of cryptic forests, apparitions, fast cars, fractured reality and everyday survival. They can be menacing one moment and absurd the next, shifting from social commentary and existential questions to punchlines, pop-culture references and unapologetic declarations of independence.
The Palm Bay Connection is independent in the fullest sense. The brothers write and record their own music, mix and master every track, and shoot and edit their own music videos. Outside the studio, they balance the band with families, successful careers in the industrial and technology fields, and an assortment of obsessions ranging from Mustangs and Teslas to Pokémon cards, cigars and craft beer.
With “Under the Sun,” “Blue Wizards” and “Apparition” establishing the group’s unpredictable sound, The Palm Bay Connection is now developing its first full-length album—more live instrumentation, more unfiltered lyricism and more transmissions from the strange side of the Space Coast.
